. Welcome & Opening

  • Greet participants warmly

  • Brief overview of what peer support is

  • Reiterate group guidelines (e.g., confidentiality, no judgment, respect, no advice-giving unless requested)

  • Group agreements (encourage camera/mic use if virtual, but allow privacy)

  • Check-in Question (optional icebreaker):

    • “What's one word for how you're feeling today?”

    • “What brought you here tonight?”

2. Sharing Circle

  • Open floor for members to speak

  • Prompts to guide discussion if needed:

    • “What’s been weighing on your heart lately?”

    • “When did you feel most connected or disconnected this week?”

    • “What’s one thing you need more of right now?”

  • No cross-talk unless someone requests feedback

4. Resource Share / Psychoeducation

  • Brief mental health tip or tool (e.g., self-care, boundaries, mindfulness)

  • Share upcoming events, services, hotlines, or wellness resources

5. Closing Circle

  • Go around with a final check-out:

    • “One word to describe how you’re leaving today”

    • “One thing you’re taking away from this session”

  • Gratitude for showing up and creating a safe space

  • Reminder: This space is always here for you.
